We all wear many hats.

Mine include: Mama, Wife, Business Owner, Psychotherapist, Consultant, Supervisor, Adjunct Professor…and I am eternally learning and evolving through life & my own personal and professional development.

First and foremost, I strive to see people, to really see them - and what lies beneath whatever brings them into therapy. The more I do this work and this life, the less interested I am in what’s on the surface. Our problematic behaviors, patterns, relationships, triggers, thoughts, complaints, and habits are windows into what drives us, what has hurt us, what wounds still need tended to. That is where lasting change really occurs.

I pull from a variety of therapeutic frameworks (CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, EMDR) and protocols, but my primary lens is human-centered and depth-focused…in other words when you walk into my office I am most concerned with the trusting human-human relationship that we can build together, and slowly, compassionately helping you dig deeper into the parts of yourself that you may have forgotten, denied, learned to be ashamed of, or never discovered.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families to help improve their quality of life, mental health, and relationships. I specialize in Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Perinatal Mental Health.

I am also a Clinical Supervisor to a few fabulous, driven, and passionate Associate Therapists who are also available to see clients in person or online.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010, and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cal Lutheran University in 2015. I now live and run a private practice in my favorite charming honest little beach town, San Clemente, CA.

I work with individuals looking to discover more meaning, purpose, vision, and direction in their lives. I also offer coaching and consultation services to parents or loved ones who are seeking support in how best to help someone struggling with an eating disorder or mental illness.

Outside of my practice, I am an advocate in our community, raising awareness about eating disorders, women's issues, mental health, and social justice.

I am a contributing author and featured clinician on Recovery Warrior's ConnectED digital magazine, Angie Viet's Inspired Recovery blog, and Face It Today’s Expert Alert Blog. I can be found on Psychology Today, TherapyDen, and VoyageLA Magazine.

I sit on the Jimmy Miller Foundation Healthcare Advisory Board, and am the former President of the South Bay Eating Disorder Coalition Board of Directors.
